1. Car alarms. Honestly, why do people still use them? No one pays attention to them, including the car owners, and - especially in a residential neighborhood like mine - they're more annoyance than use.
2. Faxes. Why use a fax machine and send someone a grainy, blurred image, when you can send a nice sharp clear pdf that doesn't require any external technology?
3. Birds flying into my window. Okay, maybe they can't tell it's a window, but why are they flying so close to my house in the first place? Aren't wild animals supposed to keep their distance from humans and their dwelling places? (Same goes for the doofus birds that make nests right outside my door or on my patio chair.)
4. Why do the blueberries all get eaten as soon as they're ripe, but not the raspberries? Do birds and other animals prefer blueberries? Are the raspberry prickers that effective a deterrent against marauding animals? Or is it because there are fewer blueberries than raspberries?
