school has sprung!

We're at the end of our second week (neither of them anywhere near full) of school, and it's so nice to have a routine!

Tonight child #1 tests for his black belt; child #2 goes to his first soccer practice. Child #3 goes to her (completely unnecessary) preschool orientation on Monday.

I still need to work on investigating new piano teachers, looking into dance classes for my stagestruck middle child, and find a gymnastics class for my youngest. Looking forward to getting the volunteer schedule for the preschool (I already have the schedule for my assigned task, which is lifting and carrying this year, just my speed!). Just found out I'm going to be room parent for my middle child, which should be fun, and debating volunteering with the Literacy program to read to small children, in addition to hoping to get back into the library this year.

Also, need to get started on the playdate scheduling (for them and for me. Yes, we grown-ups call it 'coffee', but it's the same thing with different vocabulary).

It's amazing how fast the week fills up! Still, can't wait till the littlest one goes off to preschool - where she's very anxious to go, as well - and get some quiet time!
