This morning, I received news that a woman I know lost her battle with cancer. I knew her only for a short time, and not very well - there never seemed to be a lot of time for getting together or talking - but I liked her a great deal and found the light she exuded extraordinary. I meant to tell her that the next time I saw her. Now, there won't be a next time.
My heart goes out to my friend's husband and children and family. I hope her light is able to remain with them.
