Is it time for a list? I think it is. Since we continue to be snowbound, and look like we're headed for another winter during which the snow cover lasts until April, I think I'll go with:
5 things I like about winter in Andover
1. If it's going to be cold, I prefer cold with fresh fluffy white snow cover than cold with brown drab frozen dirt.
2. Our back yard and lot are beautiful in the snow.
3. The sunlight through the back windows of the house keeps it nice and warm inside most days.
4. It's lovely to go to bed in the winter with the heater on under the blankets and feel all warm and toasty when you curl up (helps with the old insomnia).
5. It's a lot easier to send the kids outside to play in the snow than it is to send them outside on a sunny day. Don't know why, but I'll take it!
