The morning started off with a time-honored Saturday tradition ... sleeping in! That was followed by luscious New England favorite Dunkin Donuts.
Moving on from there, I managed to get my girl down for a nap relatively easily (if you don't count the accident that required a full clothing change). And while she took a lovely three-hour nap, they played outside for two hours, then came in and spent another hour deep in the arms of Lego Indiana Jones.
Meanwhile, Mommy got a good amount of work done on a journal, cleaned up the kitchen and living room, read a lot, worked on a couple of clean-up projects, watched some Sex and the City in blissful solitude, and even made chocolate pudding!
My kind of day, man! Maybe a bit short on family togetherness ... but long on peace and quiet.
